Past Pupil Success
Maeve Cantillon
Maeve who is originally from Tralee Co.Kerry found her love for performing at the young age of 5 years old. She was first enrolled in a local stage school before she expanded her training and joined The Academy of Dance where she undertook her Ballet exams as well as Tap and Jazz classes.
In 2014 Maeve continued her dance training at Colaiste Stiofan Naofa in Co.Cork where she trained in the dance course for 2 years. In 2016 Maeve was offered a place at Masters Performing Arts College in th UK, where she studied Dance and Musical theatre. During her training at Masters Maeve played the role of 'Margot' in her second year musical production of 'Legally Blonde' as well as the role of 'Elphaba' in her third year musical production of 'Wicked'. Since graduating in 2019, Maeve had her first professional job as Principal Dancer/Understudy as jasmine in the pantomime production of 'Aladdin' in Bolton. Maeve would love to Thank Clarissa for the depth of knowledge and immense training she provided during her time at The Academy of Dance.

Denise Brennan,
Denise started training at The Academy of Dance in 2012 undertaking classes in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. She has achieved her advanced level of Dance examinations under the IDTA in Musical Theatre, Tap, Modern and Ballet. Denise went on to further her training at the full time Professional Dance course at Colaiste Stiofain Naofa where she undertook classes in Choreography, Yoga, Acro and Dance Technique. She has Performed on many stages throughout Ireland with The Academy Of Dance, Kerry Youth Dance Theatre, BCSPA and Cork Arts Studio Stageworks these include Siamsa Tire, The National Events Centre- Killarney, Tintéan Theatre, The Pavilion Theatre- Dun Laoighre, The Everyman Palace Theatre , Firkin Crane Theatre and Cork Opera House. During her time at The Academy of Dance, Denise appeared on the RTE 2 Television Series Pump Up My Dance. Denise has recently graduated from Full time Professional training in Musical Theatre and Dance at the Official Stella Mann College of Performing Arts in Bedford, London.
She is now travelling the World and Performing, We would like to wish her the Very Best of Luck in her future.

Meadhbh Lyons,
Meadhbh trained in Ballet, Tap and Jazz with The Academy of Dance. Achieving her Intermediate Ballet Examination. She is now a student of Drama, Theatre and Performance in NUI Galway. She acted as Dance Captain for the NUIG Musical Society's Production of The Adams Family in 2016. She was voted to be Choreographer for the NUIG Musical Theatre Inter-Varsity Competition Team which was held in UCD in April 2016. She has just been elected Head Choreographer for the Society for the year 2016/2017. We are so looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Meadhbh and so Proud of her and her Fantastic Achievements.

Caoimhe Garvey,
A past student of The Academy of Dance, Caoimhe has had many successful achievements throughout her Musical Theatre Career including being a contestant on RTE's Fame The Musical. She studied Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. She has had many roles since in shows and Pantomimes throughout the Uk. We would like to wish her great success on her future career in The Arts.
Nicole Flynn,
Nicole Flynn is a past pupil with The Academy of Dance and after successfully graduating from the College of Dance Dublin under Joanna Banks, she went on to study at CPA London. Nicole is now an International Performer and is enjoying performing in Professional Performances Worldwide. We would like to wish her every success with her future.
