December 2013,
With Christmas coming closer and classes drawing to a close our fantastic year of dance came to an end with a wonderful performance by two of our students in the INEC in Killarney. The girls were successful in auditioning and being accepted into Monica Loughman's version of the Nutcracker nationwide tour this year. We are very proud of their hard work and achievements and it was fantastic to receive recognition from no other than Jimmy Deenihan T.D. Minister for The Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht on the night in his speech. Well Done! girls a great performance.

We were thrilled to be asked to dance for the active retired Christmas party in Castlegrgeory on the 3rd of December. A wonderful afternoon.

The 30th of November 2013 saw our Junior Show 1st Position take place in the Clubrooms Castlegregory. A wonderful evening of dancing and magic and even Santa himself managed to stop by!

The Academy of Dance Had their annual show "The Art of Distance" on the 9th & 10th of November 2013 in Siamsa Tire Tralee it was absolutely fantastic and a privilege to be apart of Congratulations to everyone involved. Check out our Photos!

More Exciting News this month with 7 of our students auditioning for Monica Loughman Ballet Company for their Nationwide tour of The Nutcracker this Christmas Season and 4 Successfully being accepted. I am so proud of all who attended and so excited for this Production,

On the 15th of June 2013 was our Fantastic Exam Presentation Evening with Jimmy Deenihan T.D. Minister for The Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht attending to present the students with their awards an Amazing Showcase of Dance was Displayed and I am So Proud of All the Students who attended Congratulations!!!

IDTA Dance Examinations were held on the 9th and 10th of March, and 100% pass rate was yet again received, CONGRATULATIONS! to all who took part and

Great start to the year this year,Congratulations to the Students of The Academy of Dance under Clarissa Michaux, who travelled to Dublin on the 20th of January 2013 to take part in The Opening Ceremony of the Irish Russian International Ballet Academy under Monica Loughman by The Minister of The Arts Jimmy Deenihan and a World Record attempt at most ballet dancers en pointe for 1 minute raising 1,500euro for The Sunni Mae Trust. The Academy of Dance were also very pleased to receive a personal welcome from The Minister during his speech.
